As I Walked Out One Evening
A poem by W. H. Auden
As I walked out one evening,
Walking down Bristol Street,
The crowds upon the pavement
Were fields of harvest wheat.
And down by the brimming river
I heard a lover sing
Under an arch of the railway:
"Love has no ending.
"I'll love you, dear, I'll love you
Till China and Africa meet,
And the river jumps over the mountain
And the salmon sing in the street,
"I'll...
Vegas
It all felt like a dream. Everything. Seeing you walk up to me for the first time, being astonished by the strength of just your pure presence. Towering over me, trembling, your hugged me with one arm. All I could say was a high pitched hi, and my nerves lost the rest of that moment in my mind. We searched for the front desk that was tucked away in the corner of the large, and later realized,...

The Most Beautiful Passage I Have Ever Read.
”May she wake in torment!’ he cried, with frightful vehemence, stamping his foot, and groaning in a sudden paroxysm of ungovernable passion. ‘Why, she’s a liar to the end! Where is she? Not there—not in heaven—not perished—where? Oh! You said you cared nothing for my sufferings! And I pray one prayer—I repeat it till my tongue stiffens—Catherine Earnshaw, may you not rest as long as I am...

And then it happened. A world was starting to form around us. The white endless abyss, where we spent all our time together, started to dissolve and saturate into a colorful paradise. First it was just flecks of greens and blues, but the flecks started to materialize and gain depth. Soon there was a beautiful blue sky over our heads, lush green plants and tropical trees in the distance, and warm...
The trees outside my window are starting to grow back their leaves, blocking my glorious view of the NYC skyline. Watching the sun slowly drown the giant silhouetted buildings in orange and yellow is the most beautiful and triumphant sunrise I think I will ever witness. It seems to warm and wake the barron and dead trees during the cold winter, something the newly born and dressed branches do not...

I have been out of high school for about 7 months now, but because of Facebook I am “connected” to peers who were in my classes. I went to a high school with over 3,500 students, with about 800 in my 2009 class. With all that opportunity for variety, it amazes me how bland and self-centered some of these people are. It seems like all people post is how unbelievably drunk/high they are,...

Romeo and Juliet Designs
Erhard’s final project, and my first attempt at designing. My theme was space age fantasy. We were told to make the scene model basic, with no textures or colors, but I threw some in there anyway. We were told to design costumes for 4 main characters. Those will be at the end.
Please keep in mind:
We designed the set around the 6 majors scenes: Opening fight scene, Ballroom scene,...
A Typical Tuesday →
A video of my typical Tuesday around campus. SOme of it is sped up for the hilarity, and some for simple courtesy. I tried showing as many visuals as I could in order to give you all a small taste of the world I live in :P

Finally!
So after 5 months of begging and one car accident later, I am finally moving in on campus! RES finally found me a room that I couldn’t refuse. A double(how lucky! usually freshman get triples) on the 5th floor of Freeman hall, facing the NYC skyline! It’s my preferred building, and it’s THE ART FLOOR! I feel like my luck is finally turning around. Also funny thing: The reason why...

Life is only a reflection of what we allow ourselves to see.
I’m starting to realize that I’m not going to be able to run off Taco Bell and Ramen for the rest of my life. Maybe I should start practicing healthy eating habits. I blame my friends; I really do. Damn this social eating!
I had a dream that I auditioned to be Snow White for Disney World. It was pretty epic.
I'm so excited for Glee!
Especially since it’s going to be mainly about Artie! I love his character, and Kevin McHale is the most adorable being on the planet <3 To show their support, the Glee club is going to be doing a musical number entirely in wheelchairs!
Also, Rachel and Kurt’s version of Defying Gravity sounds amazing! This is going to be so worth waiting the Gleeless 3 weeks :)

Romeo and Juliet meets STARWARS
For Intro to Theatrical Design, we have to design Romeo and Juliet in it’s entirety. I’m trying to convince my group that we need to design the production after Star Wars! Instead of Elizabethan gangs, it will be mother ships! And instead of sword fights… LIGHT SABERS DUH! I want Emma to design Juliet with Princess Lea buns! Also how am I supposed to design lighting with out...

Baby Squirrel! (pics)
My Mom is an Animal Control person, so she usually saves animals. She brought home this baby squirrel! We’re taking it outside tomorrow with all the other squirrels to see if he’ll make companionship with them. I think I want to name him Chester

My Einstein Action Shot (click me) →
“Evidently there are candles in space”
A while ago, I submitted a photo of my Albert Einstein action figure “action shot” to ThinkGeek. When I decided to check the page one day it was the first photo.
I was proud of myself. Too bad it didn’t win Customer Action Shot of the month
Debts
Because we were denied by the two loans that my school provides, they granted me $4000 towards my tuition. Right now I owe a little over a thousand, so they are sending me a $972 check in the mail. I’m going to use it towards a much-needed laptop. I want a first gen Macbook white, but for the specs I want they still come out to be a little pricey. I’m thinking about getting a HP, but...
